NEW CONSULATE GENERAL IN VANCOUVER
To better serve brazilian citizens and the general public, the Consulate General of Brazil in Vancouver will be operating as of February 6th, 2008. Its consular jurisdiction will include the following provinces and territories: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and the Nortwest Territories.
| 2. | The Consulate General of Brazil in Vancouver will be officially certified to offer all types of consular services, including the issuance of passports for brazilian citizens and travel visas to canadian citizens. |

| 4. | The Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto will continue to provide consular services to people residing in Ontario (except in the Ottawa region), Manitoba and Nunavut, which constitute the part of Canada with the greatest demand for consular services. The Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto will no longer process requests originating in areas not included in this newly defined consular jurisdiction (Ontario - with the exception of Ottawa -, Manitoba and Nunavut). |

| 5. | Starting on February 6th 2008, requests for Consular services from residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and the Northwest Territories will only be processed by the Consulate General of Brazil in Vancouver. |

| 6. | As a result, from March 10th 2008 all requests for consular services sent in error to the Consulate in Toronto will be returned to the sender for safety reasons, as long as they carry a pre-paid envelope from Canada Post. |
