When traveling to Brazil Canadians need a visa. The type of visa depends on the nature of the visit. Citizens of other nationalities may or may not need a visa also depending on the purpose of their visit. - Tourist Visa
 
For tourist trips to Brazil – includes visit to relatives and or friends, unpaid participation in athletic or artistic events, competitions and unpaid participation in a scientific/academic seminar or conference sponsored by a research or academic institution.
 
- Business Visa
 

For business trips to Brazil - business contacts including participation in a trade / industrial show a temporary visa II will be required.
Attention: this does not apply in case of technical support or provision of services in Brazil. In this case a Temporary visa V is required.
