• The Consulate General authenticates copies of Brazilian and Foreign documents for different purposes.

2. REQUIREMENTS

Documents

• The original document and its copy.

Fee

• Photocopies made outside of the Consular Office written in a language other than Portuguese: Cnd 12.50 per page of document.
• Photocopies made by the Consular Office written in a language other than Portuguese: Cnd 18.75 per page of document.
• Photocopies made outside of the Consular Office written in Portuguese: Cnd 6.25 per page of document.
• Photocopies made by the Consular Office written in Portuguese: Cnd 12.50 per page of document.

The consular fee for authentication must be paid through money order or certified cheque to the Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto. Cash, personal cheques, debit or credit cards will not be accepted.

3. PROCESSING TIME

• The authentication of photocopies is done in up to five working days.

4. MAIL SERVICE

• The authentication of documents may be done by mail. A pre-paid and self-addressed envelope from Canada Post (registered mail, xpresspost ou priority courier) must be sent for return. The Consulate General apologizes for the inconvenience, but only Canada Post envelopes are accepted. The Consulate will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or delayed mail.
