For business trips to Brazil - business contacts including participation in a trade / industrial show - a temporary visa II will be required.
Attention: this does not apply in case of technical support or provision of services in Brazil. In this case a temporary visa V is required.
Brazilian nationals must enter and leave Brazil with their Brazilian passport only, even if they hold another country’s passport. Children of Brazilian citizens must also bear a Brazilian passport when traveling to Brazil. Check details and conditions to apply for a Brazilian passport..
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
a) Business (Temporary Visa II) holders are prohibited from having any paid job in Brazil;
b) Business (Temporary Visa II) holders are prohibited from engaging in any activity that involves the provision of services in Brazil, including intracompany, and even if not paid in Brazil;
c) Business visa is good for multiple entries, yet authorized stays are for a maximum of 90 days per visit (if necessary, an extension may be obtained with the Federal Police in Brazil and must be requested prior to the expiration of the authorized stay);
d) EXEMPTION FROM TOURIST AND BUSINESS VISAS. Citizens of some countries (click to see list) do not require a visa to visit Brazil for strictly tourism or business purposes, provided the stay does not exceed 90 days. Please find the country of your nationality to check if you need a visa.
